Overview

To provide onsite training of the World Tea Academy endorsed Tea Craftsman™ Level 1 & 2 at your facility. We are pleased to offer you the below discounted pricing for a corporate program. You may choose to open it up only to your employees for a private affair, or invite other local tea companies to join you on this 3-day tea journey.  

Details

Schedule of Events

  • The week leading up to the training we will send in supplies to the designated contact
  • Instructor will fly out on a Monday and will set the training room provided 
  • Level 1 will be conducted on Tuesday.
  • Level 2 will be conducted on Wednesday and Thursday
  • Clean up will take place at the end of each days’ training
  • Instructor will fly home Friday
  • We will arrange pickup of items that need to be shipped back

Room Requirements 

  • Conference room or training room with table and chairs for students
  • Note: water will spill so surface of table should be able to handle. 
  • Alternately you may want to supply cafeteria trays for each attendee.
  • TV or projector for presentation (note: we can supply projector if needed)
  • Access to bathrooms
  • Access to sink or dishwasher for cleanup

Company Supplied Equipment

  

  • 5-gallon hot water boiler or multiple hot water kettles
  • Filtered water source
  • 1-2 x 5-gallon buckets for wet waste (infused tea leaves and brewed tea)
  • 1-2 x trash bins for dry waste
  • Paper Towels 
  • Gram scales x 1 per pair of attendees (note: we can supply or supplement your supply if needed)
  • Water Pitchers x 2 (note: we can supply if needed)
  • Professional tea cupping sets x 2 per person (note: we can supply or supplement your supply if needed)
  • Small mesh tea strainer x 2 per person (note: we can supply or supplement your supply if needed)
  • Cupping Spoon x 1 per person (note: we can supply or supplement your supply if needed)

Pricing

  

Level 1 ONLY = $400 

Level 2 ONLY = $800


Student fees are due within 10 days of scheduling training dates for program.; or paid in full if training is less than 10 days away.


In addition to the pricing above company will be responsible for:

  • Lunches each training day for the attendees and instructor.
  • Bottled water and snack foods to have for attendees during the training days. 
  • Travel expenses for one instructor (Scott Svihula) to include: 
    • Round trip airline (Orlando - MCO)
    • Lodging for 4 nights (Hampton Inn or equivalent) 
    • Ground transportation (parking, tolls, uber, taxi, etc.). 
    • An invoice and copy of receipts will be sent with net 10-day terms following the completion of the training. 
    • Please note, certificates will be held until travel has been reimbursed.

Special Notes

  •  There is no max for this class. However, if the class size goes beyond 12 students a support person will be required. The support person’s travel expenses will be invoiced like that of the instructor; however, their flight would be from Chicago (ORD). 
  • There is a minimum of 4 students required for this program.
  • The pricing is valid until 12/31/2019 and is subject to change without notice until booked.
